Buffalo chicken dip is a very famous recipe that most people love and serve even in parties. The original recipe is made with canned chicken cubes, but some people like to make it with freshly cooked chicken, and it is still tasty and even healthy. There are also a few types of cheese and vegetables, which you may want to mix in this recipe.
Important note: This recipe is very high in fats and calories due to using different kinds of fatty cheese. So, if you have heart problems, high cholesterol or high blood pressure, it is better to not try the buffalo chicken dip, or follow a fat-free recipe.
– 1 cup of ranch salad dressing “or blue cheese”
– 1 ½ cup of cream cheese “use also mozzarella”
– ¾ cup of red sauce “use the hot sauce if you like it”
– 200 gm of canned chicken “drained” – you can use cooked chicken “shredded or cubed breast”
– Shredded cheddar cheese “as you like”
– Crackers or frito corn chips or vegetables
– Prepare a suitable baking pan and spray it with pam or brush it with soy oil.
– In a glass bowl, put the cream cheese, blue cheese, salad dressing and red sauce. Stir with a spoon until the cheeses are softened and mixed with the sauce.
– Toss in the shredded chicken and cheddar cheese, spread the mix in the baking pan and cover with grated mozzarella cheese.
– Bake the buffalo chicken dip for 10 to 15 minutes and serve with crackers or corn chips.
