Honey garlic chicken marinade is an easy recipe that is often used for honey baked chicken. The best results can be obtained when you use chicken thighs and drumsticks, instead of using cutlets or whole chicken. The thighs are tender and they easily absorb the marinade, making the flesh so juicy and suitable for baking. The rest of this marinade is boiled and drizzled over the baked chicken for a very delicious taste.
Ingredients “enough for 4 ~ 5 thighs:
– ½ cup of honey
– ½ cup of white wine
– ¼ cup of chicken broth
– 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
– 2 tbsp of minced garlic
– 3 tbsp of olive oil
– 2 tsp of potato starch
– ¼ tsp of ground pepper
– 1 tsp of fresh thyme
– 1 tsp of pomegranate vinegar
In a glass bowl, mix the ingredients together and marinate the chicken for a few hours before baking.
After the chicken are well baked, taking that light brown glaze, drain the remaining marinade and bring to boil then let it to cool before drizzling the thighs.
Serve warm with rice, vegetables and fried potatoes.
