A tropical green smoothie is a fruit smoothie that contains green leaves or green vegetables. The recipe is basically used as a filling drink for detox plans, but not quite suitable for weight loss unless it is modified to contain low sugar fruits instead of the bananas and mangoes.
1 medium banana
1 cup of mango flesh
½ cup pineapple flesh
2 kale leaves
½ bunch of spinach leaves
1 ½ cup of water
Crushed ice if desired
In the blender, process the green leaves with the water until they are fully juiced.
Put the fruits and process on high speed until they are all smoothed.
Serve the tropical green smoothie with mint leaves and crushed ice or eat with breakfast.
